What Counts as “Relevant” to a Country?
We consider an individual relevant to a country if they were born in that country, have been a citizen in that country, or have been involved intimately in some aspect of that country’s affairs and/or culture.
For example, a Jewish person who has made significant contributions to a specific country’s flagship industry may possibly be considered relevant to that country, despite not being born there or even being a citizen; if they were ever a citizen or were born in that nation, that alone is sufficient to consider them relevant to that nation.
