Lieberstein is best known for his work in producing and playing an acting role in The Office, an award-winning TV show, as the character Toby Flenderson.

He began his career as a writer and producer for the animated series King of the Hill. He has also worked on other television projects such as The Newsroom and The Mindy Project.
