Warburg worked as partner in Kuhn, Loeb, and Co., an American multinational investment bank that grew to be one of the most influential investment banks in late 19th and early 20th centuries under the leadership of Jacob Schiff, who helped finance the Russian revolution and other military efforts against Tsarist Russia.
