Shemp Howard was a member of "The Three Stooges", an iconic 20th century comedy show.

All of the original Three Stooges - Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard - and some of the later Stooges, such as Shemp Howard and Joe Besser, were also Jewish.
